AMSD Drama classes focus on developing skills that can be applied to all areas of performance.
All drama classes focus on building foundational performance skills, such as improvisation, confidence, projection and basic stagecraft.
Junior drama classes are an opportunity for social development in younger actors, where elements of mime and script work are introduced to students as they explore drama and performance.
Senior drama classes are introduced to traditional drama techniques from seminal theatre practitioners, such as Stanislavski, Meisner and Hagen. Students are introduced to the skills required for acting for camera, and emphasis is placed on script and text work.
