These classes offer high levels of traditional Irish dancing technique and develop great levels of fitness, musicality and strength through a wonderful dance form. Students have the opportunity to enter exams and competitions. Registered with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha, The Irish Dancing Commission, Ireland.
Irish dancing competitions are held throughout the year. These are also called "Feis". Aspect Motion students dance at these events under the name of O'Connor School of Irish Dancing.
Beginner Irish – new beginners and students who know Beginners reel
Advanced Beginner – students who know reel, light jig and some of single jig.
Primary/Inter Irish - students must know 4 beginner dances
Championship – For students wishing to compete in State and National Championships

Uniform: Black or purple leotard or t-shirt + black or purple shorts or pants/leggings OR skirt and tights.
Hair: hair secured off face e.g. bun or ponytail.
Shoes: black Irish shoes (obtainable from teacher)
NOTE: Aspect Motion School of Dance branded dancewear can be purchased from the studio and is optional.
